We are a group of qualified and experienced teachers who, above all, like what we do, enjoy our job and share a common viewpoint on how to teach Spanish, German, English, Italian, Japanese, French and Portuguese as a language for the professional world (companies, businesses and other professional areas). Nowadays, foreign languages are basic professional tools and they have their own special features which make them different from the standard variety. That is the reason why they demand a specific way of learning, in which the student and his/her professional needs play a decisive role.
Our years of experience working with companies confirm the idea that learning Professional German/Spanish language courses in an effective way does not have to be at odds with entertaining and amusing lessons where students feel comfortable and sure of reaching their goals.

Methodology
Our programme is adapted to the needs of each individual or group, by designing a tailor-made plan regarding objectives and contents.A first interview is held, where the teacher makes note of the students’ needs, the current language level is assessed and the objectives and target competences are established.
The teaching team that will be in charge of the course then design a course programme so that the students can reach their objectives.
From that moment on, we apply the principles and didactic components in which we believe: real professional communicative situations in the classroom, interaction, active and central student’s participation, consideration from the first lessons of the intercultural aspects which affect professional communication, formal and rigorous work on grammar, etc. All this is done in a way which does not exclude amusement and fun.
There is a constant monitoring throughout the course,undertaken by the teacher together with the student/group in order to ensure its effectiveness to achieve the target level. At the end of the course, a final report is prepared for each student and for the company recording the progress made and advising on future language development.
Courses
In Version Original our language courses are designed according to the particular needs of each individual or group by taking into account both linguistic and intercultural aspects. Once we know their objectives and needs, we see to preparing a suitable programme in order to get the best results, adapting ourselves to the student’s schedule.Our teachers can move to the student’s working place as well as to any other requested place.
Also, we can prepare students for obtaining the Certificate of Business Spanish from the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD), Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International (PWD) and Zertifikat Deutsch für den Beruf.
1. General Spanish/German
In this type of course we treat every aspect of Spanish/German grammar and culture, by integrating them in a communicative context and by developing the student’s linguistic skills, i.e. we work on speaking, writing, listening and reading.The student will acquire the linguistic knowledge s/he needs to communicate with a native speaker in standard language, in real situations when speaking about non-specific topics.
Our general Spanish and German courses can also make the transition to the new country for professional reasons easier, not only to the relocated person, but also to his/her family.
Levels
A. Basic User
A1 A2 - Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
- Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
- Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
- Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
- Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
- Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate Basic need.
B. Independent User
B1 B2 - Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
- Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
- Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation.
- Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
- Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and Independent disadvantages of various options.
C. Proficient User
C1 C2 - Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning.
- Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
- Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
- Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
- Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read.
- Can summarise information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.
- Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of Proficient meaning even in more complex situations.
2. Business Spanish/German
In this type of course we deal with all the grammatical aspects by integrating them in a communicative real context in a business and working environment. It is aimed at students and professionals who need Spanish to perform in situations which are related to the working sphere such as negociating, writing commercial letters, presenting a project or making a speech.Levels
We offer all levels from basic communicative needs related to the professional world, to the possibility of carrying out activities which are related to business, economic and commercial Spanish fields from a social and cultural perspective.3. Spanish/German for Specific Purposes
In this type of course we deal with the linguistic aspects needed to cover the specific needs of each student or group so that they can manage in the foreign language according to their professional activities requirements. We pay special attention to the acquisition of terminology in its context, to speaking in specific situations and to writing specialised documents, always taking into account the cultural and pragmatic components in the communication.Prices
