German teacher

Working at Versión Original: since 2017

“I am from Cologne, the city of the carnival and the “Kölsch” (typical Cologne beer).
I came to Barcelona to study in 2006. After my studies, I returned to Cologne and decided to work as a German teacher. I lived in Cologne for the following 5 years, but missed the sun and Mediterranean lifestyle, so in 2016 I came back to Barcelona.

I find it very interesting to observe the way each student learns a foreign language. I always try to motivate my students by giving them creative ideas to convey the German language in a better way. During the last years, I have been able to meet many people from different cultures. I feel very fortunate to be able to live and work in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.”

Favourite German expression: “Papperlapapp!” Which means “Don’t talk nonsense” or “Don’t be silly”.

Favorite animal: giant tortoise
